Snorkeling is a great way to spend a couple of hours in La Jolla hanging with sea lions, garibaldi, and other friendly aquatic life! Our guides know the area better than anybody and can point out marine life that most people miss. Beginners are welcome but you should be able to swim. This two-hour tour is a wonderful way for people of all ages and skill levels to see the best that La Jolla has to offer. Your kayak tour will launch from and return to the boat launch at La Jolla Shores which is located at the end of our street on Avenida de la Playa. Daily Tours: 9am, 11am, 11:30am, 12pm, 1pm, 4pm and 5:30pm
Our kayaks are sit-on-top kayaks, which are the most stable of all kayaks. All rentals come complete with a backrest, life jacket and paddle. This is a wonderful way for people of all ages and skill levels to see the best that La Jolla has to offer. We have a large fleet of single and double kayaks ready to go at your leisure. If you'd prefer exploring on your own, just stop by any time and we'll have you out on the water in no time. Before you go, we'll give you a brief overview of the area and basic instructions. Our Kayak rentals run in two hour increments.
La Jolla Shores lies within La Jolla's Ecological Preserve. The diving here will take place on the wall of a submerged canyon that is home to many different marine creatures. It is common to see Halibut, Bat Rays, Spanish Shawls and Octopus, to name just a few. You can count on needing three hours out of your day for this experience; from the time you walk through our doors, to the time you have changed and are ready to leave. Our Divemasters know this area better than anyone and enjoy showing it off to new people. Dives offered daily at 9:00am
